I’m not a representative of this site, but I would like to direct any women looking for an alternative the god awful-ness of tampons and pads to this -> http://lunapads.com/divacup/diva-cup.html?SID=5a494254040932bd4a59e97cc754e8cd It made my “gift” tolerable.  It doesn’t stop your cramps and sometimes you will get a little spotting with it in, but at least you don’t have to sit in a diaper all day, or risk getting toxic shock from a tampon.  You can’t get toxic shock from this.  I leave mine in 9-12 hours when I just don’t have time to take it out.  

I’m not going to lie, it does come with a little bit of a hassle.  You have to learn how to put it in correctly, you will get a little mess on your fingers, it may seem “gross” at first, and you may feel it until you get used to it.  You will have to clean it because it is reusable and will discolor after your first cycle of using it. Trust me though, it’s a whole lot better than a pad or tampon.  I’ve had mine for 3 years now and sometimes I forget that I’m on my period with it in.  

In my opinion, there’s no reason to put up with those big diaper pads when this cup is in existence.  I have not ruined a single sheet or pair of pants or panties since I got this and the biggest pad I’ve had to wear is the length of my index finger.  That is only on heavy days and I don’t feel them because they are so small.  Oh yeah, and I can swim, run, jump, roll around, bike, and do yoga all comfortably with this cup without worrying about strings, rug burns, or bleeding on my pants because my pad slipped.

Please women.  Don’t put up with super market “feminine products.”
